A Retreat at the Monastery of the Immaculate Conception

reflection retreats sacred space spaciousness spiritual direction stillness vocation Sep 18, 2025

Our Wisdom Tree Collective students are in a beautiful season of transition as they are shifting from their first year of formation into their second year of learning and practice in the art of spiritual direction. To honor this, Kasey Hitt, Amy Lyles Wilson, and I will gather with the Cohort 2025 for a retreat at the Monastery of the Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, Indiana.

Retreats offer a contemplative space for silence, prayer, and reflection, while also fostering a shared sense of community. This weekend will be one of listening deeply to the Divine, to one another, and to the stirrings of vocation within each student. We will also offer a time to listen to our dreams in workshops and provide spiritual direction sessions.

Because the setting itself is such a gift, I'm sharing a short photoblog of the monastery from a previous visit.  May these images offer a window into the stillness and beauty that will hold us as we step into the next stage of our journey together.
